Aldelo Pay A80 First Time Setup

 The device is already plugged into power (and optionally Ethernet cable plugged in too).

The device is already turned on.

 1. Press the "Settings" app.

2. The first time, the password will be "pax9876@@" without quotes. Future attempts to enter "Settings" the password will be "9876". Tap on the screen where it's asking for the password to bring up a keyboard if needed.

3. Either press "WiFi" or "Ethernet" depending on the End User's setup. Afterwards, press the toggle to enable whichever they chose. "WiFi" will additionally have them select a network and sign into it. (If using APOS/EDC, then copy down the IP info from here!) 4. Close the "Settings" app and wait on the home screen for a FEW MINUTES while parameters download.

5. Depending on the Merchant Account backend, the A80 will download either a BroadPOS Omaha, BroadPOS Rapid Connect, BroadPOS Sierra, BroadPOS TransIT, or a BroadPOS TSYS app. This app needs to be open at all times.

If you are using Aldelo EDC, then please open the EDC software and fill out the merchant account setup with the Aldelo POS Station Number, the PAX IP from Step 3, and PAX Port 10009.
